For those of you who have been following me on
Instagram, you most likely know that I've attended
Blog Shop Boston's bootcamp over this past weekend! I've blogged about my interest in attending this 'photoshop' workshop for bloggers and online marketing creatives in the
past and am so excited to share that I finally had the chance to attend the event! All the way from Los Angeles, Bri Emery, a favorite blogger of mine from
Design Love Fest & Angelina Kohler from
Angela & Ithyle, lead the way in a two day intensive bootcamp that teaches savvy online marketers the ins & outs of photoshop, blogging, social media and the creativity behind it all!
Blogshop isn't your average continued education class. For one, it's fun. The workshop space is always airy, light and breezy...adorned with beautiful flowers at every work space, a goody bag to indulge in and lots of groovy music to listen to while you practice your photoshop skills. Secondly, you meet lots of cool people. People from all over the world, actually. People from all walks of life, different career paths and with different ambitions and goals. Blogshop has become one hot commodity and its catching like wildfire! I met some really fantastic women all the way from Alaska, Saudi Arabia...and all the way down from Georgia. They all flew to Boston for this workshop! Most importantly though...you learn the short cuts for the important stuff. Even though I took a few photoshop classes in college, it still overwhelmed me. Blogshop makes the program less scary, more opportunistic and downright applicable. I can't wait to start whipping the program out at the office, and can't wait to start applying what I learned to this blog, as I want you all to enjoy the images as much as the content! Below are a few snapshots of my weekend at Blogshop and what I learned along the way! If you haven't already...check out what
Blogshop can do for you!
