Repeat

Since we were unable to have a traditional Thanksgiving, Jonathan's parents decided to host a repeat dinner at their home, complete with a turkey, wine and lots of good friends! I attempted to cook homemade pesto sourdough bread and chocolate cookies and I have to say, I'm getting pretty good at this cooking thing!

That beautiful vintage table I blogged about a few days ago? Well, we bought it for our kitchen on sale during some Black Friday shopping!

We picked up the pesto bread mix at a local market in Virginia wine country this fall and figured this was the perfect occasion to mix it up! The 'cookie mix in a jar' was a bridal shower gift from a family friend who was helping me get the hang of baking! What a great concept!

Finally got to use our new Candy Apple red KitchenAid mixer!

The bread mixed called for one bottle of beer. Sam Adam's Holiday Porter seemed fitting!
